As of April 2007, Walter and Margriet Bos and their two children, Tina and Albert, started a new adventure, "Riverview Lodge". Immigrating from the Netherlands in November of 1991 they purchased a dairy farm in Whitemouth, Manitoba. After 16 years of successful dairy farming they decided it was time for a change in their lives. The opportunity to purchase Riverview Lodge and Lobo’s Steak Pit arose. Since it has always been Margriet's dream to own a restaurant and both, Walter and Margriet, enjoy the Whiteshell Provincial Park, they decided to take the life changing step and purchase Riverview Lodge. Margriet has always enjoyed cooking and Walter enjoys meeting new people, as well as, living in such a beautiful area of Manitoba. Their daughter, Tina, is in the process of attaining her undergraduate degree in the sciences at the University of Winnipeg and their son, Albert, will begin studying Aviation Management in the fall of this year at Red River College.
